Alan Kogan, M.D.

Dr. Kogan attended the Loyola University Stritch School of Medicine where he was awarded several academic scholarships and graduated magna cum laude. At Presbyterian-St. Lukes Hospital he completed his internal medicine residency and a fellowship in cardiology during which he was appointed chief fellow.

He is board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology, and has earned a certificate in special competency in cardiac pacing. He holds medical staff membership at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, where he served as medical staff president, Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Rush North Shore Hospital, Skokie, and at Northwest Community Hospital of Arlington Heights, and is a clinical assistant professor of Medicine at Loyola University. He has published a number of articles in The American Journal of Cardiology, Chest, The American Heart Journal and others.
