Alfonso Estrada, M.D.
Dr. Estrada was born in the Philippines where he graduated cum laude from the medical school at the University of Santo Tomas. At St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, he completed his internal medicine residency and performed fellowships in cardiology and electrophysiology.
Board certified in internal medicine, cardiology, electrophysiology, and certified in special competency in cardiac pacing, Dr. Estrada is an attending cardiologist at St. Francis Hospital, Evanston, Evanston Hospital, Glenbrook Hospital, Glenview, Rush North Shore Hospital, Skokie, and at Northwest Community Hospital of Arlington Heights. At St. Francis Hospital, Dr. Estrada serves as director of the coronary care unit, director of the pacemaker surveillance and electrophysiology lab and is the assistant chairman of cardiology. He has published articles in Clinical Research, The Journal of American College of Cardiology and other publications.
